What if fun is the skill we need most at work?

If you’ve ever asked “where did the spark go?” about your work — this project is for you. I burned out while running a consulting business and researching a PhD in meaningful work. So, I went on a mission to reset my relationship with work - by doing the most fun jobs I could think of.

What I learned might just change how you feel about your work.

This question hit me hardest

after burnout.

Turns out I’m not alone. 2/3 of workers globally aren’t engaged and burnout is out of control. THIS IS BONKERS. And the leading cause? A sense that our work doesn’t matter.

What is the Fun Jobs Project?

The Fun Jobs Project is a live research experiment to rediscover what makes work meaningful, energising, and fun.

From the stage of the Vienna State Opera to the ski slopes of the Austrian Alps, I explored what happens when we follow our spark. What really makes work feel alive? Along the way, I uncovered something bigger:
