I co-founded and scaled a multi-million dollar consulting business.
Advised Fortune 500 companies on strategy, culture, and leadership.
Gave keynotes on purpose, ran workshops on meaning, and researched a PhD on what makes work matter.

I had the models. The frameworks. The data.

But there was just one problem: my work didn’t feel good. I burned out.

I was the meaningful work expert who’d lost the meaning in his own work.

The fun side:

So I wrote a list.
Of the jobs that sounded… fun.

Ski instructor. Opera extra. Barista. Photographer. Charity worker. Stand-up comedian.

Then I actually did them.

That list became The Fun Jobs Project — a live experiment to reset how I worked, felt, and showed up.
It was playful. Sometimes ridiculous. Often moving. And unexpectedly profound.

Because in every one of those roles, I rediscovered something I’d been missing:

What began as recovery became a reinvention.

I built a new model of meaningful work — one that starts with spark.
