FROM BURNOUT
TO FUN
I was a meaningful work expert with 20 years experience — researching a PhD, running a consulting firm, helping Leaders connect to purpose.
There was just one problem:
My own work lost its spark. I burned out.
WHEN DID WORK STOP BEING FUN?
This was the question I kept asking myself. So I decided to do something radical.
I made a list of the most fun jobs I could think of: Opera Extra, Comedian, Ski Instructor, and more. And I started doing them…
It became the Fun Jobs Project — a mission to bring the spark back to work.

I already knew what makes work feel meaningful in theory but the Fun Jobs Project showed me how to live it.
Serious Fun - playful exploration, curiosity, following sparks brought back the energy, connection, and clarity I’d lost.
